Regulation on Simple Pressure Vessels issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (previous 87 / 404 / AT, new 2009 / 105 / AT), issued by the European Union Simple Pressure Vessels Directive (Simple Pressure Vessels Directive). This Regulation has been enacted in order to determine the principles regarding the determination, classification, design, production, establishment, distribution, placing on the market and usage of the minimum conditions which should be subject to simple pressure vessels produced in series to ensure the safety of persons, pets and goods. At the same time, the regulation shows the principles regarding the inspection, testing and certification procedures of simple pressure vessels.

The provisions of this regulation shall apply to simple pressurized vessels used outside the incineration, in which the internal pressure is higher than the 0,5 bar but not exceeding the maximum working pressure 30 bar, which is produced in series to fill air or nitrogen gas. Simple pressure vesselsIt has parts made of unalloyed steel, unalloyed aluminum or aluminum alloys cured without aging.

The Simple Pressure Vessels Directive covers only the basic requirements as in other directives. It does not contain any specific information regarding the design, material selection, production and test stages of the products. These points are left to national legal regulations.

Over CE label The products are considered to be in conformity with the conformity assessment criteria and the standards described in the regulation. If there is no standard related to the product in the regulation or if there is no relevant technical regulation, it is assumed that the product complies with the basic safety requirements described in the regulation. In the case of simple pressure receptacles, if the CE conformity label is required in other regulations, these containers must comply with the requirements of these regulations.

The Simple Pressure Vessels Directive (2009 / 105 / EC) consists of the following modules for conformity assessment procedures:

  • European Union Type Examination
  • European Union Declaration of Conformity
  • European Union Type Verification

Manufacturers should place the CE label on the products and show the basic information about the product on the container. This includes, for example, the maximum working pressure (in bar) of the container, the highest operating temperature, the lowest operating temperature, the volume of the container (in liters), the manufacturer's name, the type and serial numbers of the container, and the last two digits of the year in which the CE label is placed.

The Regulation on Simple Pressure Vessels does not cover pressure vessels designed to be used for nuclear purposes, causing radioactive propagation in the event of malfunction. In addition, pressure vessels and fire extinguishers placed inside or outside of ships and aircraft or designed for their operation are also excluded.
