A regulation on Good Laboratory Practice Principles, Harmonization of Test Units, Supervision of Good Laboratory Practices and Studies was published by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry in 2010.

This regulation covers the laboratory studies on the testing of substances used in human and animal medicines, food additives, cosmetic products, substances used to prevent, control or control harmful organisms, feed additives and chemicals used in industry and various products for similar products. . It also covers the testing of testing conditions for the planning, conducting, recording and reporting of the test work.

According to the provisions of this regulation, the activities of the laboratories in various organizations or the laboratories established only to do this work, Good Laboratory Practice System standards and the national ILU Monitoring Authority has been authorized to revoke or limit the conformity given by the audit and certification studies. Conformity audit of the said entities, National Monitoring Authority to be prepared by the national monitoring program.

This regulation has also announced that the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) has the legal responsibility as a National ILU Monitoring Authority.

GLP Good Laboratory Practice Test units of the factories or independent laboratories that want to participate in the Compliance Monitoring Program are audited by TURKAK according to OECD Good Laboratory Practice principles and Good Laboratory Practices Declaration of Conformity is given. GLP Good Laboratory Practices System Certificate It is sufficient for these organizations to apply by filling in the OECD Good Laboratory Practices Application Form and have completed the requested information and documents.

The Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) has been established to accredit conformity assessment bodies and to enable them to operate in accordance with national and international standards. In this way, it is ensured that the documents issued by conformity assessment bodies are accepted in national and international fields.
