There are two aspects of certification work in CE Marking System. The direction of certification depends entirely on the degree of risk of the product.

The European Union has classified the products from A to H according to risk groups in the CE marking application. The risk groups of modular structure used in CE marking studies are shown in the following diagram:

The European Union is also committed to ensuring that products comply with safety, environment, health and consumer protection standards according to these risk groups. New Approach Directives has issued a number of regulations.

CE certification work These risk groups and New Approach Directives are taken into account.

According to other quality systems CE Marking System The certification process follows a quite different path. This is because the initiative of the manufacturer has been abandoned. In the risk groups described above, in the products with lower risk, the manufacturer himself prepares the necessary technical file and decides himself to produce according to the requirements of the system, the product complies with the compulsory safety, environment, health and consumer protection standards and prepares the declaration itself and puts the CE mark on the product itself.

However, in products with higher risk, the manufacturer must apply to a validation body within the risk groups. For such products, the manufacturer will prepare a technical file, but the declaration of conformity of the products it will prepare will not be sufficient. It is absolutely necessary to apply to an approval body and to inspect its products by this organization. However, according to the result of the inspection on the product CE marking It can be accommodated.

According to the New Approach Directives issued by the European Union, all new products to be offered to the market for the first time, whether or not the producer company is a member of the European Union, must bear the CE mark. This is also the case for products that have been completely refurbished with used products to be offered to the market.
