The Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology has issued the Type Approval Directive (661 / 2009 / AT) on the General Safety of Motor Vehicles and Trailers, Systems, Components and Separate Technical Units Designed For These. The objectives of this regulation are as follows:
- To fulfill the obligation to comply with the road structure and traffic safety during the production and use of motor vehicles
- Protect human health and the natural environment
The said regulation, which is prepared on the basis of the regulation numbered 661 / 2009 published in the European Union, regulates the approval conditions for the safety of parts, components, systems and separate technical equipment produced for motor vehicles and trailers.
The annexes to the Regulation contain a mandatory list of regulations of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (Annex 3). The main product groups listed in this list are:
