Halal food certification in Malaysia for the first time in the world. Halal food studies are carried out by the state in this country. Certification is made not only in the country but also internationally.

As a result of the studies carried out by the Organization of the Islamic Conference, of which Turkey is a member, three standards prepared by the Institute of Standards and Metrology of Islamic Countries were adopted and entered into force at the SMIIC Technical Committee meeting held in 2011 with the participation of 33 country. In the same year, the Turkish Standards Institute started certification studies based on these three standards. Thus, after Malaysia and America, our country has become the third country to issue Halal Food Certificate.
