- Planning of design and development
A project is designed and developed within the company considering customer needs and expectations. After approval by the General Manager, the project is presented to the customer. At this point, if the customer requests any changes, the necessary changes are made on the project and the customer is informed about the changes made after approval by the General Manager.
- Design and development inputs
Inputs for design and development activities can be one or more of the following: requests and suggestions from customers, customer complaints, inspection results related to product returns made by customers, various surveys, changes in legal regulations or related standards, changes in technology, changes in production methods changes, quality studies or changes in the company's functional and performance requirements.
- Design and development outputs
The outputs of design and development activities may be one or more of the following: physical properties of the product, material data used in production, packaging conditions of the products, raw material and material resources, product graphic studies, or safety and environmental factors for the transport and use of products.
- Design and development review
During the review meetings to be held by the project leader or the persons assigned by the team authorized by him / her, the problems encountered during the various stages of the project, what results they create and how solutions are produced are examined. The issues discussed and decisions taken during these meetings must be recorded on the project design and development form.
- Verification of design and development
This work is carried out to ensure that the design outputs meet the design input requirements at the appropriate stages of the project. In such a study, for example, it can be verified that customer requirements are met and customer satisfaction is achieved. The specifications of a newly designed product or an existing modified product can be verified. Service requirements can be verified. Or the production process specifications can be verified.
- Validation of design and development
When the validation process is completed, the validation process is carried out in order to ensure the conformity of the product designed with the customer needs and expectations within the scope of the project. This validity check is carried out in a state of production and ready to be presented to the customer.
- Control of design and review changes
Design and development activities are often long-lasting and can be projects that come into the working areas of different units. In this long process, naturally different needs may arise over time or conditions may change. In such cases, it may be necessary to make some changes on the project.
