The CE mark is a set of mandatory regulations issued by the European Union. New Approach Directives products. In this respect, it is a legal obligation to affix the CE marking to the products covered by this legislation which will be sent to the European Union. In other words, the CE label is a necessary document for the free circulation of these products in European Union countries.

CE markingis an indication that these products are manufactured in compliance with the relevant directives issued by the European Union, regardless of where the products are manufactured, and that products are included in free circulation. It is entirely the responsibility of the manufacturer to place the CE label on the products. Otherwise, the CE label is never proof of compliance with the relevant directives and the criteria contained in these directives. The CE marking must be clearly visible, legible and indelible.

The basic requirements for products are contained in the annexes of the directives. Basic requirementsis prepared to provide a high level of protection. It is intended to protect against risks that may arise during the use of the products. For this reason, manufacturing companies have to carry out risk analyzes or have them done in order to determine the basic requirements applicable to the product. The results of these analyzes should be reported and these reports should be included in the technical file of the product.

CE label or CE documentIs a sign that the product has minimum safety requirements and is produced in compliance with the legal regulations of the European Union. CE label does not mean a Quality Certificate. It only demonstrates that the product fully meets the essential requirements described in the relevant directives and meets the minimum safety requirements for human health, life and property safety and environmental conditions.

For this reason, products subject to the New Approach Directives within the scope of the New Approach Policy adopted by the European Union in 1985 in terms of compliance with the technical legislation, must bear the CE label on them when entering the European Union market.
